Description

Single-row tapered roller bearings are able to withstand high combined radial and axial loads. The axial loads are borne in only one sense and, in addition, the radial loads generate an induced axial load in the bearing. This induced load must be counteracted and therefore these bearings are arranged in opposing pairs, so that each one can be offset against the other
These bearings are easy to disassemble. On the one hand, we have the external unit (ring) and on the other the inner unit (cone + cage + rollers)
Double-row tapered roller bearings are pre-adjusted units normally formed by two inner units and a double outer ring. Furthermore, they are usually greased and fitted with a set of seals preventing both the entrance of pollutants and the loss of grease.
