The matrix body bit will last longer initially but can crack after substantial use. The steel body bit can be repaired and re-tipped at a considerable cost savings compared to purchasing a new bit. Our bits are reinforced with industrial diamonds and tungsten carbide on the inner face and outside. Expect a high core recovery rate with our coring tools.
