性状: 粉末. 是尿酶的组成成分之一, 为细胞内溶酶体水解酶, 广泛分布于肾, 肝, 结缔组织, 唾液腺, 淋巴结等组织中. 分子量约255000
用途: 生化研究. 蛋白质水解酶中的氨肽酶类之一. 这类酶能从多肽链上游离的氨基末端 (N端) 由外向里逐个地把氨基酸切下. 亮氨酸氨肽酶不是因为只能水解以亮氨酸 (Leu) 为N末端残基的肽键, 而是水解以亮氨酸为N末端的肽键速度为最快才有这一名称由来. 实际上它同样可作用于N末端的其他氨基酸. Mg2+或Mn2+是该酶催化作用所必需的. 早期它常用于对多肽的氨基酸序列测定.
