This Arduino 328 board ( ATmega328) is a microcontroller board, which can be programmed with the arduino software. It comes with 14 digital input/ output pins, 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; it is simply connects to a PC with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

The Arduino can be powered via the USB connection or with an external power supply. The power source is selected automatically.
