Vehicle Blind Spot Detection (BSD) driving assist Rear and Side Detection System
Short Range Radar - SRR
SRR monitors the blind spot as well as the area behind the vehicle and can therefore help to prevent accidents when changing lanes or when reversing out of a parking space.
BSD(Blind Spot Detection) System:
BSD warn the driver against collisions that mayoccur due to a lane change manoeuvre. BSD are intended to supplement the vehicle's
interior and exterior rear-view mirrors. BSD are intended to detect vehicles to the rear
and sides of the subject vehicle (see Figure). When the subject vehicle driver indicates
the desire to make a lane change, the system evaluates the situation and warns the
driver if a lane change is not recommended. The system will not take any automatic
action to prevent possible collisions. Responsibility for the safe operation of the vehicle
remains with the driver.
The Blind Spot Detection (BSD) system can monitor this area and take much of the strain off the driver and avoid hazardous situations. Sensors monitor the road area behind and next to your own vehicle and warn if you try to pull out despite there being no gap.

Rear and Side Detection System (RSDS) helps make
drivers aware of approaching vehicles when changing lanes or
making turns. By providing an alert when a vehicle has entered a
blind spot to the rear or side of the vehicle, RSDS helps give drivers
more time to react to obstacles that may be difficult to see in the
side mirror.
