KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute)

韩国环境工业技术学院（KEITI）是根据环境技术与环境保护支持法于2009年成立的公共机构。 KEITI的目标是促进提高生活质量和推进国民经济。

The Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) is a public organization founded in 2009 in accordance with the Development of Environmental Technology and Support for Environmental Industry Act. The objective of KEITI is to contribute to improving quality of life and advancing national economy.

As we speak, the global society is paying keen attention to the indispensable balance between economic growth and the environment. Korea has also laid out 'Low Carbon Growth' as its core national agenda and is making an utmost effort to achieve the goal. In order to contribute to fulfilling the national policy objective and to positioning Korea as a global leader in terms of green growth, KEITI:

Supports development of green technologies that could resolve pending environmental issues at home and abroad and improve quality of life for humanity

Pursues a range of projects to foster green industries including financing, specialist training and new environmental technology verification

Builds networks for global cooperation through which the global community can work together to promote low carbon green growth

Strives to lay a foundation for green consumption by launching various programs such as Eco labeling and carbon footprint labeling certification

KEITI, as a leading institute in the field of 'Low Carbon Green Growth', pledges to build strong bridges that link nations around the world for the development of green technologies and industries.
