Measuring principle
This paragraph instrument used has magnetic and Eddy two species measuring thick method, can lossless to measurement magnetic metal matrix (as steel, iron, alloy and hard magnetic steel,) Shang non-magnetic cover layer of thickness (as aluminum, chrome, copper, enamel, rubber, paint,) and the non-magnetic metal matrix (as copper, aluminum, zinc, Tin,) Shang non-conductive cover layer of thickness (as: enamel, rubber, paint, plastic,).

A) magnetic method (F type)
When the probe contact with the cover, the measuring head and the magnetic substrates form a closed magnetic circuit, due to the presence of non-magnetic coatings, changes in the magnetic circuit reluctance, by measuring changes in its export cover thickness.
B) Eddy current method (N-probe)
High-frequency alternating current in a coil generates a magnetic field, when the probe contact with the cover, and Eddy on the metal substrate, and feedback on the coil in the probe, size can be derived by measuring the feedback effects of the thickness of the cover layer.
