4, the measurement steps
4-1 Wind speed measurement
1) Press the 'Power' key to turn on the power.
2) Press the 'Function' key to select the wind speed measurement function.
3) Press the 'Unit / Zero' button to select the unit you want, then move the wind probe towards the wind source.
4) When the readings are stable, note the displayed readings. For the same test point, the wind speed may fluctuate, which is normal.
4-2 Temperature measurement
1) Press the 'Power' key to turn on the power.
2) Insert a K-type temperature probe into the temperature probe socket.
3) Press the 'Function' key to select the temperature measurement function.
4) the temperature probe contact with the measured object, read from the LCD temperature.
Precautions for Temperature Measurement (Thermocouple):
* When you insert the temperature probe into the socket, please note the polarity of the probe.
* Since the temperature difference between the thermocouple probe and the thermometer can lead to erroneous measurements, the meter must be warmed up each time the probe is replaced or a new probe is inserted in order to obtain the best measurement and accuracy performance. The thermal process takes several minutes and is warmed up only when the temperature of the probe is different from the thermometer.
4-3 Humidity and ambient temperature measurements
1) Press the 'Power' key to turn on the power.
2) Press the 'Function' key to select the relative humidity measurement function.
3) At the same time, the relative humidity and temperature readings are displayed on the LCD.
4) For each environment, it takes a few minutes for the reading to stabilize before reading.
4-4 photometric measurements
1) Press the 'Power' key to turn on the power.
2) Press the 'Function' key to select the photometric function. For easy reading, the digital display of the luminosity is rotated by 180 ° compared to the digital display of other functions.
3) Press the 'Lux / Ft-cd' key to select the measurement unit, 'Lux' or 'Ft-cd'.
Zero compensation for luminosity:
* In order to get the best measurement results, please adjust the zero before using the light sensor at the end of the instrument on the desktop or other plane, to ensure that no light can be irradiated to the light sensor, and then press the 'Unit / Zero' Return to zero.
* Zero will drift as the ambient temperature changes, battery changes, or other reasons.
5, other functions
5-1 lock function
Pressing the 'Hold' key will lock the current reading and display the 'HOLD' symbol at the same time.
5-2 Recording function
1) Data record function The maximum / minimum reading is displayed. Press the 'Max./Min.' Key to start data recording, and the 'REC' symbol will be displayed on the LCD.
2) The following operations are performed with the 'REC' symbol displayed:
(A) Press the 'Max./Min.' Key, the 'Max' symbol will be displayed on the LCD, and the maximum reading will be displayed.
(B) Press the 'Max./Min.' Key again, the 'Min' symbol will be displayed on the LCD and the minimum reading will be displayed.
(C) Press the 'Max./Min.' Key for 2 seconds to exit the data logging function and the display will return to the current reading.
(D) Press the 'Hold' key to clear the record of the maximum / minimum reading. The previous maximum / minimum value will be deleted.
5-3 Auto power off function
In order to extend the battery life, the instrument has an automatic shutdown function. Automatic shutdown time is not operating for 10 minutes.
6, replace the battery
1) When the LCD shows the symbol, replace the battery. However, after a low battery indicator, it can be measured for several hours.
2) Open the battery cover and remove the battery.
3) Install a 9V battery (alkaline or high-energy battery), then replace the battery cover.
