CJC-1295 promotes lean body mass, muscle gain and strength. CJC 1295 is a long acting GHRH analog. Growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), is also known as growth-hormone-releasing factor (GRF or GHRF). The tetrahedral modifications of CJC 1295 with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) lengthens the lifespan for releasing growth hormone (GH), and thereby increases the therapeutic effects with less frequent dosing compared to standards GH injections.

Growth Hormone Replacement Peptide (GHRP 6) is often used in conjunction with CJC 1295 DAC for its synergistic effect on increasing GH secretion. For the CJC 1295 DAC weekly cycle, an evening injection of GHRP 6 causes a nocturnal surge of growth hormone with less of a surge of cortisol and prolactin (compared to GHRP 2).
