Silk powder (silk fibrin powder) is a kind of macromolecular silk fibrin in powder form, made from the silk fibrin degummed under high pressure, through special craft processing and smash through physical methods. Tasteless, odorless, slightly soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol.

Applications
1) Moisturizing Products.
The silk powder is an excellent natural moisturizing factor due to the presence of hydrophilic gene in the structure of silk. It can attach a very thin silk powder layer to the surface of skin, which canwill absorb or and release water with the change of the temperature and humidity of skin. Thus it has certain preventive and therapeutic effects on skin protection, preventing and curing various skin diseases caused by moisture and drying.

The crystalline structure of silk powder can reflect part of ultraviolet ray, and the hollows formed by the spiral structure can absorb part of ultraviolet ray.
