The 6000AB A/B-Scan Ophthalmic Ultrasound is the newest digital ultrasonic instrument that uses ultrasound to produce a two-dimensional plane view of the eye for diagnostic evaluation (B-mode),and determine the axial length of eye(A-mode).
Ultrasound scan images are viewed on the high resolution, TFT LCD color display. The display also cues the operator on instrument set-up and usage by means of the user-friendly, menu driven software. The operator controls the unit by means of a track ball to highlight and select software menu functions, and a footswitch to freeze scans, and to store scan data to U disk.
