The gouge blades are generic products used by the Podiatrist. This tool exists in non-disposable form since at least the 19th century. The disposable form exists since second half of the 20th century. The disposable blades make it possible to use a single and sterile product for each patient.
Gouge blades can be used with a standard metal handle of fitment 3 or with round collect handles made of either stainless steel or aluminum
