Data Output
1. I/ O: there are 4 I/ O ports on this module board. They output +12V or 0V, for example, when the smart key comes, it outputs +12V, when the smart key leave, it outputs 0V.
2. Serial Port (Data Port) : TXD port on the board is data output port, developers can read this data and program functions they need.
Application Examples:
1. Electric Door Lock: use this module to drive the lock motor directly, or to drive a relay to control the power of a lock.
2.Motorcycle Lock: same as the door lock.
This PKE module can be used in many fields. All we have to do is dug more talent and amazing functions.
Configuragtion
Main Board *1
LF Antenna: selectable, maximum 3.
Remote/ ID tag: selectable, maximum support: 8 per unit
How does PKE work?
PKE uses active RFID technology, the SMART KEY is an active Tag, and the main unit is a Reader, they can communicate with each other. Usually the tag is sleeping, but when it enter the detecting area of the reader (electromagnetic field) , it will be waken up by the reader and send password (hopping code) to it, the reader will identify the password and decide the next action.
As the Reader always knows if the tag is in its field, it can do many things according to the location of the reader, for example, it can lock the car or close the unclosed windows when the tag leaves from its field.
