EPDM EPDM rubber is ethylene, propylene and non-conjugated diene terpolymer, 1963 began commercial production. World consumption is 800,000 tons a year. EPDM's primary features is its excellent oxidation resistance, ozone resistance and corrosion resistance capability. Given the polyolefin family of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, it has excellent vulcanization characteristics. In the midst of all the rubber, EPDM has the lowest proportion. It can absorb a lot of fillers and oils and has little influence. So that you can make low cost rubber compounds.
