Watermark is embedded into the paper during the papermaking process when a dandy roll presses the design into the wet paper and it is made the same time with the paper. Security fiber paper is made by adding colored (red, yellow, blue, etc.) fiber or colorless fluorescence fiber into the paper pulp and can be divided into colorful fibers and colorless fluorescence fiber. The former type is visible with naked eyes on the surface of the paper, and the latter one is only visible under the ultraviolet rays with the colors of red, blue or orange, etc. They can be thick or thin, short or long. Fiber usually distributes in a random way, therefore the density is different in different places.

Security thread paper is manufactured by putting a metal wire or plastic wire in the paper in the papermaking process and can be divided into full-burying security thread paper and window security thread paper according to the manner of burying the safety siding.
