Usually it uses T8 fluorescent tube for the underground garage lighting. This kind of light source need to use 8W magnetic ballast and its totally actual power consumption is 44W. It not only consumes a large amount of electricity, but also there is humming noise and stroboscopic. So that it needs to replace the tube and the starter frequently . That means it is very tedious for maintenance.
It has been adopted by many developers and property management companies to use LED fluorescent lamp (without induction/ with induction) to replace the ordinary T8 fluorescent lamp. It is not only the most rapid and effective project for lighting energy saving reconstruction, but also an important measure to promote the national energy saving.

Energy saving calculation details
1. Annual electricity consumption spending
Annual electric chargespending = lamps quantity*wattage*annual working hours* electric charge
Fluorescent Tube: ( 600 *44*8760/1000) *1.0 = $231264
12W LED Tube: ( 600*12*8760/1000) *1.0 = $63072

2. Tube-replacing spending (As the working life of the fluorescent tube is not very long, it will be broken and need to be replaced within 3 years)
If you replace 30% of the fluorescent tubes, the replacing spending is as follows:
10RMB/ PCS *600PCS*30%=$1800, If the cost of labor is 10RMB/ PCS every time, so it will cost $3600 totally.
But the LED lamps do not need replace.

3. Ballast-replacing spending
If 10% of the ballast in the fluorescent lamps needs to been replaced within one year, the cost of replacing is as follows:
Actuator-replacing spending= (actuatorprice+ labor cost) * replacing times
Replacing times= (annual working time / actuator life) * quantity
So it will cost $ 20*600*10%=1200, If the cost of labor is 10 RMB/ PCS every time, so it will cost $4200 totally.
But the LED lamp do not need to pay this cost.
So that it can save $4200for ballast and actuator-replacing every year.
