The SPA-3000 features VoIP adapter functionality found in the SPA-2000 and SPA-1000/1 with the additional benefit of an integral connection for legacy telephone network hop-on, hop-off applications. SPA-3000 users will be able to leverage their broadband phone service connections more than ever by automatically routing local calls from cell phones and land lines to a VoIP service provider and vice versa. A typical user calling from a land line or mobile phone will be able to reduce and even eliminate international and long distance telephone charges by first calling their SPA-3000 via a local phone number or by using a telephone connected directly to the unit. The advanced authentication and call routing intelligence programmed into the SPA-3000 will connect the caller via the Internet to the far end destination with security and ease. Using the SPA-3000 at the far end, calls can be answered immediately or further processed as a local call to any legacy land line or mobile phone allowed by the SPA-3000 dial plan. If power and/ or IP network connectivity is lost to the unit or the VoIP service is down, calls can be sent to a traditional carrier via the FXO interface. We have seen instances where installing the SPA3000 behind a firewall which blocks ICMP packets causes problems with registration. Try turning off any ICMP blocking on your firewall. features: 1: VoIP to PSTN (USA) Service Call Origination and Termination 2: PSTN (USA) to VoIP Service Call Origination and Termination 3: Single or Dual Stage Dialing 4: Service Authentication via PIN, Digest, Caller ID (Bellcore Type 1) 5: Per Call Authentication and Associated Routing 6: Least Cost Routing Support 7: Terminating Impedance Agnostic - 8 Configurable Settings 8: Call Waiting, Cancel Call Waiting 9: Caller ID Detection (Bellcore Type 1) 10: Caller ID with Name/ Number (Multinational Variants) Display 11: Caller ID Blocking 12: Call Waiting Caller ID with Name/ Number 13: Call Forwarding to PSTN or VoIP Service: No Answer/ Busy/ All 14: Do Not Disturb 15: Call Transfer 16: Three-Way Conference Calling with Local Mixing 17: Message Waiting Indication - Visual and Tone Based 18: Call Return and Call Back on Busy 19: Call Blocking with Toll Restriction 20: Distinctive Ringing 21: Off-Hook Warning Tone 22: Selective/ Anonymous Call Rejection 23: Hot Line and Warm Line Calling 24: Speed Dialing of 8 Numbers/ Addresses 25: Music on Hold 26: Forward Calls to VoIP service - Selective, Authenticated, All 27: Forward Calls to PSTN service - Selective, Authenticated, All 28: PSTN Line Sharing with Multiple Extensions 29: Automatic PSTN Fallback (Loss of Power or IP Service to Unit - with Quiescence to Normal Operations) 30: Advanced Inbound and Outbound Call Routing 31: Single Stage and Two Stage Dialing 32: Independent Configurable Dial Plans - Up to 8 33: Force PSTN Disconnection 34: Sequential Dialing Support 35: Dimensions: (L*W*H) 102*95*27mm 36: Unit Net Weight: 119g VoIP to PSTN Authentication and Routing 1: VoIP to PSTN Gateway Enable/ Disable 2: VoIP Caller Auth Method (None, PIN, HTTP Digest) 3: VoIP PIN Max Retry Setting 4: One Stage Dialing Enable/ Disable 5: VoIP Caller ID Pattern Matching 6: VoIP Access Allowed Caller List (No Further Authentication) 7: VoIP Caller PIN and Associated Dial Plan PSTN to VoIP Authentication and Features 1: PSTN to VoIP Gateway Enable/ Disable 2: Caller Auth Method: None, PIN, Caller ID 3: Ring Through to FXS Enable/ Disable 4: Ring Through Tone - Configurable 5: Caller ID (Bellcore 1) for VoIP Service Access 6: Caller ID Enable/ Disable 7: PIN Max Retry Settings 8: Access Allowed Caller List (No Further Authentication) 9: Caller PIN and Associated Dial Plan 10: Least Cost Routing (via Outbound VoIP - Line1 Dial Plan) FXO Behavior 1: VoIP Answer Delay Timer 2: PSTN Answer Delay Timer 3: VoIP PIN Digit Time-Out Timer 4: PSTN PIN Digit Time-Out Timer 5: PSTN-to-VoIP Call Max Dur Timer 6: VoIP-to PSTN Call Max Dur Timer 7: PSTN Ring Through Delay Timer 8: PSTN Dialing Delay Timer 9: VoIP DIG Refresh Interval Timer 10: PSTN Ring Time-out Timer PSTN Disconnection Detection 1: CPC (Removal of Tip/ Ring Voltage Momentarily) 2: Polarity Reversal 3: Long Silence (Confugrable Time Setting) 4: Disconnect Tone (e.g. Reorder Tone) 5: FXO Port Impedance - Configurable to 16 settings 6: Ring Frequency - Configurable 7: SPA to PSTN and PSTN to SPA Gain Settings 8: Ring Frequency - Maximum Setting 9: Ring Validation Time Setting 10: Tip/ Ring Voltage Adjustment Setting 11: Ring Indication Delay Setting 12: Operational Loop Current Minimum Value 13: Ring Time-out Setting 14: On-Hook Speed Setting 15: Ringer Impedance Setting 16: Line-in-Use Voltage Setting Regulatory Compliance FCC (Part 15 Class B and Part 68) , CE, ICES-003 Security 1: Password Protected System Reset to Factory Default 2: Password Protected Admin and User Access Authority 3: Provisioning/ Configuration/ Authentication: 4: HTTP Digest - Encrypted Authentication via MD5 (RFC 1321) 5: Up to 256-bit AES Encryption Documentation 1: Quick-Start Installation and Configuration Guide 2: User Guide 3: Administration Guide - Service Providers Only 4: Provisioning Guide - Service Providers Only Data Networking 1: MAC Address (IEEE 802.3) 2: IPv4 - Internet Protocol v4 (RFC 791) upgradeable to v6 (RFC 1883) 3: ARP - Address Resolution Protocol 4: DNS - A Record (RFC 1706) , SRV Record (RFC 2782) 5: DHCP Client - Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (RFC 2131) 6: ICMP - Internet Control Message Protocol (RFC792) 7: TCP - Transmission Control Protocol (RFC793) 8: UDP - User Datagram Protocol (RFC768) 9: RTP - Real Time Protocol (RFC 1889) (RFC 1890) 10: RTCP - Real Time Control Protocol (RFC 1889) 11: DiffServ (RFC 2475) , Type of Service - TOS (RFC 791/1349) 12: SNTP - Simple Network Time Protocol (RFC 2030) Voice Gateway 1: SIPv2: Session Initiation Protocol v2 (RFC 3261, 3262, 3263, 3264) 2: SIP Proxy Redundancy - Dynamic via DNS SRV, A Records 3: Re-registration with Primary SIP Proxy Server 4: SIP Support in Network Address Translation Networks - NAT (incl.
